Dogs and Cats of the Dominican Republic Animal Rescue is an all volunteer organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of needy animals in the Dominican Republic.Our Mission includes:- Providing free spay/neuter and vaccinations to needy animals and street animals using volunteer vets and a bus we have turned into a mobile vet clinic.- Providing emergency medical treatment through local vets for street animals or animals whose owners cannot pay for this kind of care.- Providing parasite medicines to over 2,000 animals every month along the north coast of the Dominican Republic.- Providing foster care for homeless animals and then finding new homes for them in the Dominican Republic, Canada, or the United States.- Providing food for animals in emergency situations.- Educating the Dominican and Haitian population on the proper care of their animals.
