Teaching - #tech and work opportunities. #WorkForceDevelopment SparkiCreative, Inc. is a charitable organization 501(c)(3) providing full scholarships for technology courses to women, minorities and veterans. Each year, 60,000 tech jobs in the US go unfilled. Our nonprofit is working to get full scholarships to provide artificial intelligence and general technology jobs for veterans, women and minorities by providing apprentice programs and courses. Our mission for 2017 is to get 10,000 program participants into jobs.-3,000 students hired at $55,000 a year will create $123,750,000 in salaries after taxes. -3,000 students hired at $60,000 a year will create $135,000,000 in salaries after taxes. -4,000 students hired at $112,000 a year will contribute $277,760,000 in salaries after taxes. By supporting 10,000 students in 2017, $536,510,000 will be contributed to the economy.Our workforce development model is designed around a Tier 2 supplier model and is guaranteed to create diversity in technology. Any organization with goals or requirements around diversity and inclusion can benefit from working with our organization and will provide invaluable support in the process.Job skills aren't enough for under served groups to gain to get hired and thrive. Soft skills development comprise almost 30% of our focus. We train participants on how to receive and give constructive feedback on workmanship. We develop participants on how to listen, ask questions and communicate in a way that works for technical and nontechnical individuals. We invest attention on the importance of attitude and team harmony. We are intentional in our training of relevant 'internal' software systems experience. Most post secondary graduates don't get trained on corporate applications so we focus 20% of our programs on getting participants familiar with basic knowledge around widely used software to increase the chances for placing a program participant. Future objectives include new programs and programs for additional under served groups.We do R&D around relevant applications for consumer and enterprise use and allow students direct access to these technologies. They are encouraged to contribute to the licenses we provide access to. We currently serve the United States and plan to expand globally once we get our current programs properly funded.
