Jesus came to save His people from their sins (Matthew 1.21). Jesus’ birth marked the beginning of the end for sin and death. Sin and death will not be allowed to remain an eternal experience. Furthermore, by wiping every tear from our eyes (Revelation 21.4) and making all things new (Revelation 21.5), God will completely remove sin and death from existence when Jesus returns.
