Play On Chicago advocates Chicago-built games and developers to increase local revenue and job growth through research, co-marketing, and events.We believe that Chicago has an amazing collection of studios, titles, and talent and we’ve created a not-for-profit group to showcase what we believe is a best-in-class city for game development.Play on Chicago, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit that promotes the establishment, development, and expansion of the video game industry in the municipality of Chicago. We believe that this industry brings together the best elements of STEM core, the arts, and small and medium business entrepreneurship to form a unique experience in computer entertainment. While the area already has many elements of community and a good track record of development, we believe that with additional effort we can increase revenue, job growth, educational opportunities, and other benefits for the existing and future industry as well as the City of Chicago at large.
