✨ Honoring Juneteenth ✨ Today, we recognize Juneteenth—a powerful reminder of freedom delayed but never denied. On June 19, 1865, enslaved Black Americans in Galveston, Texas were finally informed of their freedom—two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation. At WVLDI, we honor the legacy, resilience, and contributions of Black individuals in veterinary medicine and beyond.
