Call Us 3026520986 Emergency Dial 911 Recent Stories Tugboat fire in river February 18 2025 Earlier today on Box 1834 an additional Engine Truck were requested to assist on a Tugboat on Fire in the Delaware River area of Penns Beach. Ladder 28 Engine Chief 22 responded to the Port of Wilmington to be transported to the scene via a work boat from the Delaware Launch Service. Crews boarded the ship with additional SCBA cylinders equipment along with our personnel were being sent to provide relief for the first due companies. Upon arrival the fire was contained and companies were placed in service.
