Our students at Simon Youth Academy had the pleasure of meeting one of IYM’s newest leads, Rea! Rea has been a student of yoga for just about 10 years now. She says, “One day in my college dorm room, I randomly stumbled upon a meditation and yoga video and from that moment on I fell in love with yoga and knew I wanted to teach!” In March of 2024 she signed up for her 200hr YTT and a few months later she was officially certified at Cityoga. “What I love most about teaching yoga is simply being able to share my passion with others and that is also why I love IYM. At IYM not only am I able to share my passion with others but also sharing it with the community in which I come from is so important to me. My hope for students taking a yoga class with IYM is that you are able to learn something new even if it’s small and apply it to your future self,” continued Rea. Please help us welcome Rea!
