Housing Families First is an organization that provides families experiencing homelessness with tools to achieve housing stability. Everyone deserves a home. At Housing Families First, we believe that every family deserves a safe place to call home. Housing Families First gives families facing homelessness the opportunity to build a legacy for their families by providing a path to a permanent home. HFF has five programs: (1) Hilliard House, a short-term emergency shelter for up to 11 families at a time; (2) Building Neighbors, a rapid re-housing program that moves into permanent housing then connects them to resources to keep it; (3) Bringing Families Home, a partnership with public schools to move precariously housed students and their families to permanent housing; (4) Key Hunters Housing Coaching, a program offering basic housing coaching for families limited financial assistance with move-in costs based on geographic restrictions; and (5) Forging Foundations, a housing program for 18-24-year-old youth and their children.
