Since its inception Les AmisSaint Louis has sponsored programs tours lectures and books contributing to a greater understanding and appreciation of the French heritage of the region and has provided funds to purchase and restore significant historic French Creole architecture Les AmisSaint Louiss greatest achievement and indeed its most daunting continuing task is to bring the regions notable French Creole history to the attention of the general public.
