EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES TO MEET THE NEEDS OF YOUNG PEOPLE. EMPOWERING YOUNG PEOPLE TO MAKE POSITIVE CHOICES. LIVEmpowered (Formerly known as MAM) believes that every young person is LOVED, that they have intrinsic VALUE. By helping them understand that, they can be EMPOWERED to live a healthy life. We do this by providing PREVENTION EDUCATION and TRAINING in schools, communities, and churches on challenging topics such as: eating disorders, self-harm, addiction, depression, suicide prevention, anger management, teen pregnancy, body image, and more. We believe that poor choices are a direct result of misunderstanding one’s value. Our goal is to equip young people to see that they have something unique and amazing to offer the world and help them access the resources they need while providing safe spaces where each individual can be heard.
