With thanks to our sponsors at CAI we bring you the second annual Taste of the Earth cooking contest is this Saturday. There is still room at the table for a few more cooks to bring their culinary best to plant based foods. Once again the first place prize is a hand coiled pot made by Mashpee Wampanoag artisan Ramona Peters. Ramona is known internationally for her work to create these pots inspired by her Wampanoag heritage and made in the traditional fashion. Last year's chefs brought some delicious entries to the table. Be inspired by your garden and the local produce section. Details including the rules and a registration form can be found at bit.ly/TOTE2025. Good luck! @wcai_npr (fb)

CulturalPreservation It is not enough to simply save the land but also to preserve the culture that has thrived upon it for thousands of years. The land needs to go back wants to go back just as it is to the people of the land with no restriction and no designation that me as an outsider have a right to determine what is done with it Dvora said when interviewed about the planned donation last summer. If I said you need to do something with this land I am right back into that same system of white people telling Natives what to do with their land.
