To encourage the exchange of knowledge, cultivate local entrepreneurship, develop, support the development of and provide resources for the development of free and open source software, hardware and media, encourage the environmentally responsible use, reuse and repair of technology through education and research for the betterment of society.

Our 6 artists-in-residence, Nifemi Ogunro, Gabrielle Vitollo, Mars Dietz, Diane Matyas, Rosa Chang and Noah Powell, are deep in fabrication mode for their large-scale public works which will be on display in Makerpark in Staten Island for the next year.
