THE MISSION OF THE INSTITUTE IS TO BE A GATEWAY FOR INTEGRATING THE EXTRAORDINARY ACADEMIC, INDUSTRIAL AND ENTREPRENEURIAL RESOURCES OF THE NEW YORK/NEW JERSEY METROPOLITAN AREA INTO A DYNAMIC, RAPID-RESPONSE ENTERPRISE FOR ADVANCING BASIC AND TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH AND ENTREPRENEURISM IN THE LIFE SCIENCES.
