THE HAMBLETONIAN SOCIETY IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FORMED IN 1924 TO SPONSOR THE RACE FOR WHICH IT WAS NAMED, THE HAMBLETONIAN STAKES. THE SOCIETY ENCOURAGES AND SUPPORTS THE BREEDING OF STANDARDBRED HORSES STAKES AND OTHER SPECIAL EVENTS.
