The Handle District is a vibrant and eclectic mix of Midtown’s most popular businesses concentrated between 18th/19th/L/Capitol. The purpose of this corporation shall be to promote the common interest of Handle District businesses by improving business conditions through the development and operation of a business improvement district and other programs and initiatives.

WELCOME TO THE Handle District This is the official site of the Handle Business Improvement District HBID. The HBID includes all restaurants bars and breweries within the boundaries of 18th Street 19th Street L Street and Capitol Avenue in Midtown Sacramento California. The HBID is a benefit assessment district approved by businesses and adopted by the Sacramento City Council to help fund improvement projects and programs for the Handle District. ON THE BLOCK Dine Drink With 18 places to eat in just one large city block the Handle District is home to many of the top restaurants in the region.
