THE MISSION OF THE MARKET IS TO SUPPORT SUSTAINABLE, REGIONAL AGRICULTURE; TO BUILD COMMUNITY GATHERING PLACES; TO INCREASE ACCESS TO NUTRITIOUS, LOCAL FOODS IN URBAN AREAS; AND TO EDUCATE THE CONSUMER ABOUT SHOPPING LOCAL.
