Our ASK Charlottesville families had a BALL cheering on Virginia Baseball! ⚾💙 From pregame fun with Cavman to a thrilling walk-off win in the bottom of the 9th—it was a night to remember! 🙌 It was also a very special night for our families who were able connect with one another, make memories together, and share ASK’s mission with the Charlottesville community. 🎓🎉A huge CONGRATS to our amazing high school graduates from the class of 2025!🎉🎓 We recently celebrated 23 incredible ASK Kids from 10 school districts across Richmond and Fredericksburg at our Annual ASK Graduation @altriatheaterva. It's been a tough journey for many of our ASK Kids, with some missing quite a bit of school due to their diagnosis and treatments. Despite these challenges and others, they've all stayed strong and focused on their education. We're incredibly proud of every one of them!💙 Special thanks to our inspiring speakers: 🎤Eshan Vishwakarma – Young Adult Cancer Survivor & Rising Senior at Harvard University 🎤Dr. Jordyn Griffin – Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, VCU School of Medicine 🎤Rich Catlett – ASK Chaplain, Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU We're also grateful to Jenny Robertson for her heartfelt remarks for presenting the Melissa Robertson Memorial Scholarship and to Jennifer Newlin, PA, for awarding the Sickle Cell Association of Richmond-OSCAR Scholarship.
