Earlier this fall, the annual Helen Schwaner Award, which recognizes excellence in teaching, was awarded to Senior Kindergarten teacher Karen Larson. Thanks to the generosity of the Schwaner family, Mrs. Larson will enliven the Junior and Senior Kindergarten playground – and it's all getting started over spring break! Her enhancements include a sandbox table, a student-made mural, and raised garden beds.
