Type: Part-time, 15-20 hours/week, hybrid (In office/remote) Location: SE Michigan Compensation: $17/hour Job Summary: Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Administrative Assistant is a support to program staff, fulfilling some of the following tasks: -Communication - Writing & formatting internal and external communications (digital and printed) that engage supporters and encourage participation in DRAW’s mission. -Database maintenance - Assisting our team by registering/tracking volunteers, tracking donors, and engaging DRAW’s network through correspondence. -Reporting - Assisting the Executive Director/Board of Directors in creating reports to keep the organization in high standing with outside organizations and supporting companies. -Team coordination - Acting as a facilitator between DRAW staff/volunteers when disaster responses or on-site events require overarching support. We’re excited to announce that DRAW was selected by the Raymond James Charitable board of trustees to receive a grant for the 2025 funding cycle of the Raymond James Charitable Grant Initiative. As a partner with Raymond James Financial, Raymond James Charitable is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to strategically invest in the communities it serves. This grant will go towards serving disaster victims around the U.S. in the aftermath of storms. The Raymond James team even volunteered this week, helping us load our response supplies to serve the people of London & Somerset, Kentucky after the weekend’s EF4 tornado. (fb)
