Black Wall Street Southern Nevada black wallstreet NEVADA ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT MOVEMENT NEVADA Since 1994 Black Wall Street has strengthened communities and collaborated with various organizations seeking to foster economic empowerment and Advocacy to rebuild vibrant African American communities through business Black Wall Street Nevada is a nonprofit nonpartisan organization that is part of a global network of independently owned organizations that serve as one of the nations largest African American Civil Rights and advocacy organizations. Black Wall Street Las Vegas District was established by Derwin Whitmore MBA in 2012. As the first District President Derwin Whitmore identified the Historic Westside as the location for the new district established the original board of directors and oversaw the district implementation process. After serving as a member of theBlack Wall Street USA Regional Advisory Board for the Southwest Region Derwin Whitmore was appointed to Nevada State Director and the Black Wall Street Nevada Corporation was established as a nonprofit organization.
