The Riverbank Foundation encourages the study, appreciation and preservation of American art with a focus on the historical and cultural aspects that define the nation’s heritage. In particular, the Foundation supports selected programs of scholarship, research, education and exhibitions centered on artists of the 19th and 20th centuries that helped shape regional identity across the continent. The Foundation works solely with non-profit institutions, scholars and educators.
