361 4507873 361 4507873 TEXAS SURF CONSERVANCY mission The mission of the Texas Surf Conservancy is to work collaboratively across disciplines and industries to promote the health of marine habitats and support oyster mariculture along the Gulf Coast of Texas. Since January of 2021 our facility at the Texas Oyster Ranch has served as a training site for partners from Texas Parks Wildlife Sea Grant Texas Texas A M University and the Texas Agricultural Extension. We regularly provide working tours and extensive information to prospective oyster farmers and others interested in this burgeoning Texas seafood industry. We also serve as a living classroom for students from local elementary and high schools to those involved in doctoral work at the Harte Research Institute at TAMUCC.
