Compass is an intentionally diverse, inclusive, and progressive elementary school located in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. We currently enroll students in pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. The Compass Family-School Collaborative seeks to ensure an open and welcoming school environment, where passion and purpose come together to find meaningful ways to uplift our students and our community. Our objectives include fundraising, sponsoring events that bring our community together, supporting teachers and staff, and advocating for the needs of all of our families. The Compass FSC celebrates our differences while searching for understanding and common ground. We invite the honest and non-judgmental exchange of ideas, with the goal of forming solutions that will strengthen our school community. We pledge to do all we can to support the educational enrichment and general well-being of our children, both in and out of the classroom.
