A place to celebrate at Waterfront Park Did you know the Happy Birthday song was written in Louisville. Two sisters Mildred Jane Hill and Patty Smith Hill composed the song that has been sung more often and in more places than any other song in the world. The importance of the Hill sisters however goes beyond their greatest musical hit. They were influencers in other important ways.
