Fries Fire Department The Fries Volunteer Fire Department was founded in April of 1961 by a group of dedicated men who wanted to provide fire protection and emergency medical services. The members equipment and location have all changed since then but the dedication of the members stays the same. Today the citizens of Fries and the surrounding areas can be proud of the fact that we have the same training and state of the art equipment of most major U. S.
