We bring unique collaborations, world premieres, and new takes on classic works to captivate, thrill and entertain audiences from around the world to Scotland’s beautiful and historic capital city. We commission and co-produce work with American theater companies as well as invite the most prestigious American orchestras to play in Edinburgh’s finest concert halls. Our vision is to expand our international program, bringing work to Scotland from voices not previously heard, particularly from Africa and Asia. And we want to make the International Festival as accessible as possible through a world class education program.
