Menu Washington County Community Action Council A Leader in Fighting Poverty The mission of the Washington County Community Action Council is to respectfully assist all individuals in economic need within our community in achieving and maintaining selfsufficiency. Helping Individuals Achieve and Maintain SelfSufficiency The Community Action Council CAC serves as Washington Countys federally mandated Antipoverty Agency and is the designated Community Action Agency. Our Services Case Management Those in need of assistance with housing issues may come into the agency for more information and to apply for services. Circles Circles is a comprehensive poverty alleviation initiative aimed at empowering community members to pull themselves and their families out of poverty.
