Just Transition Alliance - Just Transition Alliance

Together with frontline workers and community members who live along the fencelines of polluting industries, we create healthy workplaces and communities. Frontline Workers, Fenceline Communities United for Justice The Just Transition Alliance was founded in 1997 as a coalition of environmental justice and labor organizations. Together with frontline workers, and community members who live along the fence-line of polluting industries, we create healthy workplaces and communities. One of our main objectives is shifting toward a sustainable economy that does not compromise people and our environment, one that is driven by those at the frontline and on the fence-lines of unsustainable production. Our goal is to transition to local and regional economic models that service their population. We will only achieve this by transitioning away from unsustainable methods and practices that exacerbate the disproportionate impact that toxic chemicals have on communities of color and Indigenous peoples.
