Founded in 1951, KHCA/KCAL is a statewide non-profit trade association that represents over 260 long-term care providers. The KHCA is a statewide non-profit association that represents over 270 long term care providers, including both for-profit and not-for-profit communities. KCAL is the arm of association that serves the interests of Kansas’s state-licensed-only homes. Advance the legislative/regulatory agenda of its members with emphasis on improving residents' quality of care by enhancing providers financial viability and reducing the costs of related litigation and state regulations.
