✨ Meet Riya ✨ She left school after 7th grade—pressured by financial struggles and family expectations. Married young, raising two kids, she forgot how to read, write, even do simple math. And slowly, her confidence faded too. But then she heard about Sunsar Maya.
A place where women like her were going back to school. She walked through our doors uncertain… but everything changed. With time and support, her confidence returned—and so did her dreams.  One stood out:
To re-enroll in formal school. And because of supporters like you… she did! 🎉 As of May 15, Riya is officially a student again—starting in Grade 8. Education changes everything. 820 girls. Fully funded. 🙌 Because of the amazing SuMa family, 820 girls in Nepal now have access to hygiene supplies for the entire school year. That means 820 girls won’t have to miss class because of their period. 820 girls who know their education matters. This campaign was about more than hygiene—it’s part of our larger mission to help women and children in Nepal build pathways out of poverty.  When girls stay in school, they’re more likely to graduate, pursue careers, and invest back into their communities. It’s one of the most powerful interventions there is. Thank you for rallying with us.
