Currently, cancer care emphasizes medical interventions and physical health. Social support and education for these individuals and global information sharing among professionals are essential to improving quality of life after cancer. The Global Campaign for Cancer Survivorship promotes an integrative approach to healing and a positive message about survivorship through its programs worldwide.
