Our MissionWe advocate on behalf of students with disabilities to ensure their right to an equal education opportunity are protected and respected.What We DoOur advocacy takes many forms, including but not limited to:• advocating on behalf of students by being involved in all steps of the IEP/504 process.• conducting trainings and workshops for parents so they are well-informed, empowered advocates for their children.• offering trainings and workshops for education staff at all levels (e.g., administrators, teachers, paraeducators, therapists, school psychologists) so they are empowered and have the tools necessary to serve their students with disabilities.• consulting with 504 and IEP teams, schools, and districts on best practices for inclusive education.
