Every day, countless animals suffer in silence, feel abandoned, abused, and neglected with no one to care for them. The Schenectady County SPCA is their only hope, providing lifesaving rescue, shelter, and medical care. But we can't do it without your help. Your donation means food for a starving dog, warmth for a shivering kitten, and a second chance for animals who’ve known nothing but pain. Help us stop the suffering. Donate today to save animals who are suffering from neglect, abuse, and cruelty! Your generous support can give helpless animals a new life. If you would like to contribute to the SPCA, please click https://countyspca.com/donate/. Or if you would prefer to mail your donation to the SPCA, please mail to: Schenectady County SPCA P.O. Box 9516 Niskayuna, NY 12309 If you are worried about a situation, you see happening in the community, please give us a call at 518-755-9517, or consider sharing this post so everyone in your feed knows how they can reach us. At Schenectady County SPCA, our mission is to investigate complaints of animal cruelty, as well as working with Police agencies within the county to educate the public regarding state animal cruelty laws. Detecting and reporting animal cruelty are the two most important steps in bringing animal cruelty to an end. But how do you really know what you are looking for? By using the “WATCH” checklist can help detect intentional and negligent abuse. Weight: Does the animal look thin? Age: Does the animal look emaciated? Temperature: Is the animal outside longer than a 2-hour period in less than 10 degrees F (longhaired) or 32 degrees F (shorthaired) in winter? Condition: Does the animal have water? Is the animal fed once a day? Is the collar too tight? Health: Is the animal sick, injured, lethargic, or distressed? Donate today to save animals who are suffering from neglect, abuse, and cruelty! Your generous support can give helpless animals a new life. If you would like to contribute to the SPCA, please click https://countyspca.com/donate/. Or if you would prefer to mail your donation to the SPCA, please mail to: Schenectady County SPCA P.O.
