The YWCA National Capital Area is committed to being a vehicle for change in the Washington, DC area by working to eliminate racism and empower women. YWCA National Capital Area is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. Our Bold Goal is to ensure that a majority of women and girls across the national capital area have the resources and support necessary to achieve personal, professional, and educational success.
