Follow Message Edit

The West Foundation was founded in 1959 by Ruth St. John and John Dunham West, who was the President of the Manitowoc Engineering Company, manufacturer of submarines in WWII and presently cranes and refrigeration equipment. Following the death of the Wests in 1989 and 1990, the major portion of their estates were bequeathed to the West Foundation. The Wests did a lot for the community during their lifetimes and now continue to do so through the West Foundation by providing financial aid to community organizations in need.

What I appreciate most about Eduo is its neutrality and inclusivity. It doesn't push any agenda — just provides tools for people to explore and support what matters to them.
