The devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake that hit Myanmar on March 28, 2025, has resulted in immeasurable loss of life, widespread destruction and the displacement of thousands now in urgent need of humanitarian assistance. Global Health Charities is dedicating every dollar raised to emergency relief efforts on the ground, which include the following: Personal Support: > Dignity kits: Each kit is equipped with essentials such as clothing (2 Longyi, 2 T-shirts), hygiene products (sanitary napkins, soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste), personal care items (nail clipper, rubber slippers, comb, detergent), undergarments, raincoats, flashlights, and more. > Mosquito protection nets > Sleeping mats > Portable power units > Food packages: Each includes 4 pyi of rice, 250 ml cooking oil, 7 packs of instant noodles, sardines, a stove, and gas. Medicine and Health Supplies: > Water purifying tablets to ensure access to clean drinking water. > Medicine packages: Including Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, Amoxicillin, Ciprofloxacin, Metronidazole, and other critical medicines, along with Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS), inhalers, and topical ointments. > PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): Includes essential protective gear such as helmets, gloves, high-visibility vests, boots, respirators, and safety harnesses to ensure the safety of first responders and the people they assist during the response.
