SHEKINAH COMMUNITY THRIFT STORE GRAND RE-OPENING - SPRINGFIELD, OHShekinah Community Thrift Store is celebrated their Grand Re-Opening on Saturday, July 27. 2013Two sisters began Shekinah Community Thrift Store in 2003 with a primary purpose of helping the Clark County Community. “Shekinah” means God’s presence. While established for over three years, Shekinah CTS was able to assist many Clark County families in need of clothes and household items with a voucher program. They also provided financial funds to local community charities from the proceeds of their sales.Today the partners, Loveisha Ortiz, Doug Terrill, Gary and Lori Raymond & Cheryl and Buddy Casey hope and believe that Shekinah Community Thrift Store will once again become a prime “Thrift-Shopping” destination. We believe that it will become the community’s choice for your “DONATION DESTINATION”! Please donate your gently used clothing, furniture and household goods that help local community families and charities. In turn, the store will provide an even stronger foundation of support for Clark County families and other charities.Our new location at 408 W. Washington Street the former Good Samaritan Outreach Center (GSOC) in Springfield will offer a fully accessible store to shoppers and donors. Donations will be accepted during open hours and by appointment only at this time. Shekinah CTS provides useful donated furniture, clothing for all, household items, electronics, collectibles, jewelry, antiques, books, and more at very affordable prices. 10% of our gross proceeds will go back into our community with donations to various charities. In addition, vouchers will be given to community charities to help local families in need for FREE. About Us: Shekinah CTS is a Christian 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that clothes and assist the community by combining life-changing resources from the store to local charities and individuals to show Christ’s love in action every day of the year.
