Members meet once a year to conduct the Societys business and three times a year for public programs featuring the history of the Wolf Laurel Community the Upper Laurel and Bucktown Communities Madison and Yancey Counties the Southern Appalachian mountain region of Tennessee and North Carolina and other subjects of general interest. We welcome you to our public events and urge you to join the society as we enjoy together the rich history of our beautiful mountains. 2024 Program Schedule is out The program schedule for summer 2024 is now ready.
