Wolf Laurel Historical Society Madison and Yancey Counties North Carolina Menu Wolf Laurel History Blog Wolf Laurel Stories Organizational Resources The Wolf Laurel Historical Society was founded in 1994 by residents of the Wolf Laurel Community interested in history as a reading and study area. Members meet once a year to conduct the Societys business and three times a year for public programs featuring the history of the Wolf Laurel Community the Upper Laurel and Bucktown Communities Madison and Yancey Counties the Southern Appalachian mountain region of Tennessee and North Carolina and other subjects of general interest.
