ABOUT WHO WE ARE The USChina Transpacific Foundation UCTPF was established in 2015 to forge strong bilateral ties between the two nations with the belief that a positive relationship between the worlds two most influential economies is essential for the wellbeing of the global economy. The USChina Transpacific Foundation is a nonprofit public organization and is classified by the IRS as a taxexempt 501c3 organization with MECEA status to allow the Foundation to carry out programs that comply with the requirements of Section 108A of the Mutual Educational and Cultural Exchange Act of 1961 Public Law 87256 and implement regulations set forth in 22 CFR Part 64. MISSION The Foundation strives to promote the mutual interests of both the United States and China through political cultural and educational exchanges as well as economic and trade forums designed to promote productive partnerships between businesses from the two nations.
