I'm hoping this post reaches all feral cat colony feeders in Central Falls and Pawtucket ‼️ A call came in at the end of the day from a woman who was highly upset because another woman was on her street saying she was there to trap cats and that she worked with me. Part of the reason the woman was highly upset was because this was not the first time this woman has been in the area trapping cats that she feeds. The upset woman said that this woman has trapped cats previous to this and the cats have vanished, never to be seen again. (When doing TNR, you are suppose to release the cat back to the same area where found.) I felt it was important to address this because I wanted to make it clear that I DO NOT IN ANY WAY WORK WITH THIS WOMAN. If I need a cat to be trapped, I call on Vikki and Vikki only! If anyone shows up saying they work with me, the safest thing to do is contact the Central Falls Police Department #401-727-7411. I'm aware of who this woman is. There has been situations with her in the past with her posting about cats in both Central Falls and Pawtucket. There was a situation a while back in Central Falls where an elderly feral cat that had a feeder for over a decade had been seriously injured. It occured on the weekend. I do not work on weekends but thankfully Vikki was on board to help the feeder/owner to not only transport the cat to the vet, but our non profit also paid the bill. This woman was on scene when Vikki pulled up to pick up the cat. This woman previously has met Vikki and knew who she was. As Vikki was pulling off to transport the cat, well before she even arrived at the hospital, this woman went on social media posting that I, animal control, has picked up the cat and I took the cat's life ( I had to word it like that due to fb being sensitive to certain words.) Mind you that I had never been in the city that day. I never came in contact with the cat. Well of course it created a stir because most folks tend to believe anything they read on social media verses hearing it from the source itself. That was just one situation, like I said there have been several situations that have occured between both cities involving this woman and they generally start with posts created on missing/found animal pages of her looking for help for a cat. No calls from her ever come through to animal control. To this day, I have never had a conversation with this woman. So again just so we're all clear, I DO NOT WORK WITH THIS WOMAN! I DO at times call on Vikki. Most in the city that deal with cats know who Vikki is, but if there is any question if someone shows up saying they are trapping/collecting cats that you feed, please contact the police department #401-727-7411 so that the person can be identified. ~ACO Charlene #61 (fb)

Having her enjoy her treats today because with her spay surgery tomorrow, she's going to be fasted. It's a great day to be able to enjoy some quality time outside with her.
