Zoroastrian Association of Greater New York. The Zoroastrian Association of Greater New York represents the Parsi and Zarathoshti community in the Tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Conneticut. The Zoroastrian Association of Greater New York, Inc. (ZAGNY) is a Section 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation incorporated with the primary purpose of promoting cultural, educational, and social activities as well as providing critical assistance to needy people. ZAGNY conducts activities that are exclusively charitable and educational and include: - promote cultural, and educational activities; - organize events to celebrate days of cultural significance; - provide a platform for adults to volunteer their time, efforts, and resources towards worthy social causes; - sponsor important educational conferences by bringing together global scholars; - help needy people through its Critical Assistance program - extend academic scholarships
