About the organization

Dear trusty sidekick community Since 2011 Trusty Sidekick has devised and produced more than 21 original works for young audiences including four productions specifically created for children on the autism spectrum and their families. Together we have created multidisciplinary productions with an ensemble of collaborators that includes artists trained in physical theater puppetry music dance animation design and video projection and engaged young people themselves in the creation process of theater designed especially for them and their families. Most recently this spring we completed a rolling national premiere of our newest work FROLIC and a classroom residency with our partner school P721K. However after 13 years of creating and devising dynamic theatrical experiences with you and our heroes we want to let you know we are considering our national tour the final piece of programming that will be launched and led under the banner of Trusty Sidekick.
