How did you spend your holiday today? This group from Concord United Student Ministries traveled with Praying Pelican Missions from Knoxville, TN to serve in Valdosta this week. Today we were honored to have them at Living Bridges Ministry. They helped pressure wash, raked and cleaned up yard debris, painted the parking lines and symbols. They helped with fence repair, loaded out some Walmart donations, and helped load some shelving that needed to get moved to our new greenhouse. We are so thankful to have had them. What do you do for self care? This week we hosted a painting reward class where our clients that had taken 3 hours of other classes earned the chance to come paint and relax. We had nature sounds playing and they were each given a traced canvas to paint. It was a great morning. Those who signed up for the evening painting class, we will see you soon. (fb)
