Goochland Historical Society Search this Website The Goochland County Historical Society Founded in 1968 the Goochland County Historical Society is a 501c3 nonprofit tax exempt educational organization created and operated for the presentation preservation and protection of Goochland County heritage and tradition. To fulfill its mission the Society has collected manuscripts artifacts genealogical and architectural information pertaining to Goochland and Virginia. These resources some of them rare and unique are made available to the public at the Societys history center located at 2924 River Road West. Our hours are Wednesday through Friday 10 a.
