Seneca Valley North Soccer Association

The Seneca Valley North Soccer Association (SV North) is a nonprofit youth soccer organization located in Pennsylvania. It is one of the oldest youth soccer clubs affiliated with PA West, the regional affiliate of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). Established in 1980, SV North serves the communities of Zelienople, Evans City, Harmony, Jackson Township, and surrounding areas.

Programs and Activities

SV North offers both in-house and travel programs for children. The in-house program is designed for younger and less experienced players, typically from U5 to U10 age groups. These programs focus on developmental skills and fun, with games played on Saturdays. In-house programs do not require players to purchase uniforms, as a free t-shirt is provided with registration.

The travel program is geared towards more experienced and older players, competing in PA West Sunday travel brackets. Travel teams participate in a standard season of eight matches, with four home and four away games against other PA West clubs. Scores are tracked, and standings are maintained by PA West.

Games for in-house programs are primarily held at Sippel Reservoir Community Park, while travel teams often play at the Seneca Valley High School stadium. SV North also maintains fields at Glade Run in Zelienople and collaborates with Jackson Township on their community park fields. This infrastructure allows SV North to provide a robust soccer experience for its members.

Registration fees vary by program, with in-house programs generally costing less than travel programs. Fees cover aspects such as uniforms for travel players, and in-house players receive a free t-shirt as part of their registration.
