On May 16th, two Kentucky counties were hit especially hard when tornadoes ripped through the towns of London and Somerset. Seventeen people died, including a dedicated pet rescuer, Sherri Smith who worked with a well known rescue, Kentucky Mutts. We will send any donations made to us from May 20th to May 27th to Kentucky Mutts to care for injured and displaced pets. Currently, the biggest need is for veterinary care for injured animals. Please make monetary donations to www.KYMutts.org to assist with these expenses. Donations of food, dog and cat, wet and dry and and collar/leash sets from our Amazon Wish List will be delivered to the group next week. (fb)
