Coaxial Arts Foundation is thrilled to announce multidisciplinary artist hooz as our May 2025 Artist in Residence. During their residency, hooz will create an immersive installation at Coaxial, which will be open to the public May 31 - June 1, 2025. Installation Opening + Performance Saturday, May 31 | 6:00PM - 10:00PM (Silver Spirit / Severine / Hearthealer / 9 / Teddybear / Priscilla Robinson / VORA) Visiting Hours Sunday, June 1 | 12:00PM - 5:00PM As a continuation of the VRTUE universe, comes another physical manifestation: VRTUE: Capsule Two. The Coaxial space, transformed into an immersive installation, will act as the setting for a series of live sonic performances. Ranging from sound experiment, recitation and live vocals, to storytelling DJ set, guests are invited to experience a transcendent evening in this space activating all senses. VRTUE: Capsule Two will be open to the public May 31 - June 1, 2025. hooz is a multidisciplinary artist from NYC. They received their BFA with honors from USC Roski and was a recipient of the Windgate Lamar Fellowship from the Center for Craft. Their work has been featured in numerous group, solo, and duo exhibitions hosted by Murmurs Gallery, Harkawik, Band of Vices, SIZED Studio, Aparador LA, Amor Corp, Art Division LA and CLAYDD.
