Midwest American Mycological Information Midwest American Mycological Information Wildforaged Mushroom Identification Home Wildforaged Mushroom Certification Program Working in partnership with the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development MDARD MAMI offers a workshop program that if successfully completed will qualify you as an expert mushroom identifier who can lawfully broker select wildforaged Michigan mushrooms. This program teaches participants about Michigan regulations regarding the sale of wildforaged mushrooms in Michigan. Additionally there are opportunities to At the end of the workshop participants take a written exam which if successfully completed qualifies them to receive an Expert Mushroom Identifier card issued by MDARD. Registration for 2025 Wildforaged Mushroom Certification workshops is underway.
