Opened August 2010 - LCR connects community excess to those who can use it creatively. Our mission is to inspire creativity, increase access to the arts through affordability, and encourage reuse. Our focus is where CONSERVATION and CREATIVITY can meet - to benefit the environment and the community. We aim to make the arts accessible to all through - our Reuse Center featuring a low cost Arts, Crafts, and Sewing supplies shop - an Open Craft Space 6 days a week - educational programming - community outreach programs Beyond our self-sustaining efforts of the Reuse Center - we use the proceeds to support other local non-profit organization in their efforts to elevate the community of Lancaster Pa. We also offer GReen PaRties, celebrated in our main classroom. Funds recieved from our events are used to maintain our PreK Play and our Sew School programs.
