Washington Kids in Transition
We have provided rental assistance, emergency food and motel vouchers for families in the Edmonds and Everett School district since 2015. We provide needs to unhoused and low-income children attending school in the Edmonds School District. Services include food, emergency closets, rental assistance, and hygiene kits. We support homeless students in Washington State by providing emergency services in the time of crisis. During the Covid-19 crisis, we are providing emergency food support and focusing on rental assistance. We provide motel stays until shelter can be found. emergency food until services are available. We provide families a hand up to prevent homelessness by providing rental and utility assistance. We help kids feel like they live in a community that cares about their education. We work directly with social workers in the schools to determine the needs of our homeless youth.
